Brand Guidelines
Our visual identity, including our name and logo, is vital to the public recognition that we provide to the leaders we endorse as environmental champions. These guidelines are designed to ensure the Washington Conservation Action logo and brand is used in a way that protects the value of our identity and does not misrepresent Washington Conservation Action or our endorsed candidates.
Logo
Washington Conservation Action’s logo is used to illustrate our identity for candidates and campaigns we support and is our primary brand. Designed with the Pill Gothic 300mg Bold typeface, it expresses our power as an organization.

Choose the option below that best fits your needs. Logos for print are in the “CMYK” color space and are PDF file format, and logos for web are in the “RGB” color space are in PNG file format.
Classic – full color
Transparent – white with no background
Alternate transparent – black text with no background
Color Variations
The logo is available in multiple color variations to provide enough contrast against different background colors.

Full Color
Use whenever possible and on white and light backgrounds

Black
Use when the full color logo isn’t applicable (e.g., black and white printing, etc.)

Reverse
Use on dark backgrounds

White
Use on dark backgrounds and when the reverse option isn’t applicable
Sizing and Spacing

Minimum Size
The logo shouldn’t be used smaller than the minimum size, which is measured by its height.
With tagline
Digital = 55px
Without tagline
Digital = 18px

Clear Space
Text and other graphic elements should remain outside the clear space to ensure the logo’s prominence and visibility. The minimum amount of clear space is equivalent to the height of the “W” in Washington as shown in the red area.
