About Me

Grace (she/her) is a lifelong Washingtonian and climate justice activist. She first got started in this work at age 14 as a youth volunteer at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and has since been involved in climate and ocean organizing work at a state, national and international level.

Grace has a bachelors of science degree in Environmental Public Policy with a minor in Social Justice from Oregon State University. She has extensive experience with program development and engaging young people in the climate movement. Grace’s past positions include being the Youth Programs Coordinator at the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Pacific Northwest Field Organizer at Our Climate.

She is incredibly passionate about bringing art and storytelling into policy advocacy and working to make civic action accessible to all communities, especially those most impacted by the climate crisis. When she is not working, she enjoys music, hiking, reading, collaging and spending time with her three cats Stevie, Pebbles and Bam Bam. You can find her collages on instagram at @gracecollagess
