About Me
Mariana (she/her/ella) has more than five years of experience with multinational corporations. She has worked on diverse projects ranging from leading the PepsiCo Foundation activities for a manufacturing plant to the maritime exports of John Deere from Mexico to Brazil. She recently interned with Native Vote Washington, creating posts for their social media platforms, interviewing Native American candidates, and tabling at events such as Power Paddle to Puyallup Youth Canoe Journey 2024.
Mariana is Mexican and her culture is the core of her identity. She spent her childhood surrounded by rivers and beaches in the Gulf of Mexico. That’s why she cares deeply about the conservation of natural resources, indigenous people’s rights, mental health, and social justice. In her free time, you can find Mariana camping, cooking, singing, and volunteering for conservation projects
