About Me
Stephanie is Tlingit and an enrolled member of the Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. Before joining WCA, she worked her way up to project management for Eighth Generation (a Seattle based art and lifestyle brand owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe). Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in American Indian Studies with a minor in Arctic Studies from the University of Washington. She brings to our growing Tribal Nations work, experience and expertise in MMIP (Missing or Murdered Indigenous People) and environmental advocacy and nuanced understanding around relationship building and navigating Tribal communities. She currently serves as an elected delegate for Tlingit & Haida’s Tribal Assembly, representing the Washington Chapter of Tribal citizens. Outside of work, Stephanie creates art, practices martial arts, and enjoys spending time with her two wild dogs (Atlas & Zeus) in nature. She was born and raised in the greater Seattle area and currently lives in North Seattle.
