Like many others, we have had to adapt our work to the limitations that come with a pandemic. We convened our annual Carbon Friendly Forestry Conference as a webinar series over two days, November 17th & 18th, 2020. We leveraged the accessible nature of a virtual gathering to invite more folks and new audiences to the event, which showcased innovative strategies and opportunities for sustainable forest management that can create a stronger economy and healthier communities and forests in a changing climate.
The registration cost for webinar access is $65. Given the circumstances of this year, this rate has been reduced from the previous $165 amount of our in-person conference. This year’s fee supports our speakers with a small honorarium and covers the cost of the online platform. We acknowledge that in these challenging times some be unable to pay any fee. If this applies to you, please email sally@waconservationaction.org before registering for accommodation.
